Hansika Motwani Hansika Motwani married her friend Sohail Kathuria in December, and the grand wedding of the actress took place in the Jaipur palace. Following her wedding, the gorgeous actress landed in Chennai for the shoot of her upcoming film with director R Kannan, and post that she visited the famous Kalikambal temple. Interestingly, it also marks the actress' first visit to a temple post-wedding.
Kajal Aggarwal Kajal Aggarwal got married to her long-time friend Gautam Kitchulu in October 2020. Prior to her wedding, she offered prayers at the Ajmer Dargah and was spotted carrying a flower basket. Kajal Aggarwal was accompanied by her mother and the pictures went viral for all the right reasons.
Nayanthara Nayanthara married Vignesh Shivan last June, and the couple was seen visiting several temples before their wedding. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, who initially had plans of getting married at the Balaji temple, Tirumala, visited the temple ahead of their wedding to pray for their prosperous life together. Their visit also turned controversial as Nayanthara was spotted with footwear on the temple premises and Vignesh Shivan later issued an apology to the temple management.
Samantha Samantha is suffering from myositis, an inflammatory muscle disorder, and the actress is recovering. Samantha underwent an initial treatment for myositis in the US recently. And the actress visited Palani Murugan temple recently. Despite her condition, she climbed the steps to Palani and offered prayers. She has also lighted camphor on all the 600 steps of the Palani Murugan temple and prayed to Lord Muruga for her health.

Time and again there have been reports of some actresses or the other running brothels or being involved in sex trade. After Shwetha Basu Prasad's prostitution case came on the radar, here is looking at instances where actresses from the Tamil film industry have hit the headlines for their involvement in sex scandals.
Aish Ansari: Tamil actress Aish Ansari was arrested by Police for being involved in flesh trade.
Bhuvaneswari Tamil actress Bhuvaneswari and four men were arrested by the Chennai police for their involvement in prostitution in 2009. The sex siren, known for her role as – well, what else, but a prostitute – in director Shankar's 'Boys' was reportedly running a brothel in real life too, and was caught red-handed entertaining her customers a few years ago. Bhuvaneswari has acted in a number of films and serials, making her mark with bold, glamorous roles.
Caroline Mariya Tamil actress Caroline Mariya Asan was arrested for her alleged involvement in a prostitution racket that was being run from a five-star hotel in Viman Nagar in Pune, in 2012. She has played heroine in movies like 'Rain' and 'Wadachalam'. The actress has done modelling assignments for textile and diamond companies in Chennai as well.
Vineetha She was arrested in 2002 in suspicion of alleged prostitution, but was later cleared in 2004, and all charges dropped, with Vineetha stating that the trial had put her through mental agony. After spending eight years away from the industry, she returned in 2008 to play a supporting role in the low-budget drama – Enga Raasi Nalla Raasi.
Ranjitha Ranjitha, who charmed many with her roles on the silver screen in the 90s, shocked everyone when her name cropped up in association with the sex scandal involving godman Swami Nithyananda which got leaked. The actress went into hiding for a few days and then had reportedly filed a complaint claiming it wasn't her at all. Though this wasn't particularly a case of prostitution, it definitely was among the top sex scandals involving a Tamil actress.
