This is a collection of articles archived for the excellence of their content.
You can help by converting these articles into an encyclopaedia-style entry,
deleting portions of the kind normally not used in encyclopaedia entries.
Please also fill in missing details; put categories, headings and sub-headings;
and combine this with other articles on exactly the same subject.

Readers can send additional information, corrections, photographs and even
complete articles on new subjects to the Facebook page, Indpaedia.com.
If found suitable, this additional information will be incorporated into the
related Indpaedia article (with an acknowledgement) or a new entry will be
created (also with due acknowledgement).

Readers will be able to edit existing articles and post new articles directly
on their online archival encyclopædia only after its formal launch.

See examples and a tutorial.

[edit] Early career

Lalrempuia says, ‘A chance meeting with a career counselor in school changed everything and I enrolled myself in NIFT, New Delhi as a fashion design student. I quickly realised designing wasn’t really what I wanted to do, as I never considered myself to be very good at it. That’s how becoming a stylist came up – I could work with clothes, making things look new and beautiful without designing at all, a perfect job! My first exposure to fashion was as a backstage helper, helping the models to change during a fashion show and was absolutely thrilled. I then met fashion show director Aparna Bahl from Preferred Professionals and assisted her during Lakmé Fashion.’

[edit] Moment

‘One of my favorite moments ever was attending my first Paris Fashion Week in September 2009.’
