Sankrail
Village in Howrah District, Bengal, situated in 22 34' N. and 88 14' E., on the right bank of the Hooghly, It contains jute- mills and cement works, and pottery of some local repute is also manu- factured. The Sankrail Khal, which here enters the Hooghly river, forms a means of communication with the interior of Hooghly District.
