Not just Surat, Rahul Gandhi on bail in these cases too/ India Times- The Times of India 25 Mar. 23

A Surat court convicted Rahul Gandhi of defamation but gave him bail and a suspended sentence. That's not the only case against Rahul Gandhi. And it's not the only case where he is out on bail.

For the comments Rahul Gandhi made in 2019, the Congress leader has a defamation case filed by a BJP leader in Patna. An Ahmedabad court gave Rahul Gandhi bail in July 2019 for a defamation case filed by the Ahmedabad District Co-op Bank.

In July 2019, he was also granted bail by a Mumbai court in a defamation case filed by an R S S worker. The case was filed for his comments linking killers of Gauri Lankesh with the 'BJP-R S S ideology'.

He's already battling another case in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra filed by an R S S worker in 2016 for saying that 'R S S killed Mahatma Gandhi'.
