An actor and designer, was until now known for a massive red dot chair on which Deepika Padukone was seated. Washington showed a different sensibility at the Delhi Art Fair, 2015 where she fused an antique candlestick telephone with a huge seashell as the receiver. When you picked it up, you could listen to whispers and sounds from a recording that Washington had made. If one listened a little carefully, some of life's secrets and humorous profanities would be revealed. "In this melee of larger-thanlife works, I intentionally chose a quieter and more intimate art work," says Washington, whose shell was eagerly picked up by many and pressed to the ear for some me-time with whispers.
