The Mrs India contest

It was her mother-in-law who suggested she participate in the Mrs India contest. When her husband heard about it, he jumped at the idea.

She had had a baby. She had already put on a lot of weight after marriage, so she had to first lose those extra kilos she had gained. It took her close to a year and a half to come back to her normal shape.

Mishap at the Mrs Globe contest

This happened to her at the finale of Mrs Globe. She was wearing this green dress for the finale and just minutes prior to the show, one of her earrings fell off.

She was selected among the top 15 and she did not have an earring to match. She obviously could not go on stage without earrings, so she was upset about it. She wanted to cry.

Suddenly one of the contestants who got eliminated for the last round walked up to her and gave her her earrings. Kavita wondered to herself, 'Why did she do that?' In the end they were competitors, she had nothing to gain out of it, but she chose to help Kavita. Kavita was so full of gratitude; she hugged her, and thanked her for helping her.
