FACILITY STATUS: Operational

The Pakistan navy broke ground on the Jinnah Naval Base at Ormara in Baluchistan in 1994, and the base was inaugurated as Pakistan’s second naval base in 2000. Subsequent expansion of the base has allowed it to take on increasing air defense responsibilities.
