Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja: Boney Kapoor's Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja was one of the most expensive films in 1993. The movie not only had colossal sets but also featured the hit pair of Anil Kapoor and Sridevi along with Jackie Shroff in lead role. Apparently, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja was one of the biggest commercial disasters.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham: (200-) Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, which featured Bollywood A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, boasted of opulent sets and great designer wear and was shot extensively in US, UK and India. The movie was made on a staggering budget of Rs. 400 million (40 crore)

Om Shanti Om: Deepika Padukone's debut movie Om Shanti Om was a major blockbuster, which was famous for featuring almost thirty superstars in one of its songs. Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om was made on a bugdet of Rs. 350 million.

Singh Is Kinng: Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Singh Is Kinng was a runaway success. Made on a staggering budget of Rs. 500 million, the movie also featured a song by rapper Snoop Dogg!

Krrish: Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish, which was a sequel to superhit movie Koi Mil Gaya, was India's first superhero movie. Apparently, the movie was replete with state of the art special effects and mind boggling stunts, which were carried out by a team of Hollywood technicians.

Love Story 2050: Starring Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra, Love Story 2050 was a Bollywood science fiction film, which featured almost 1200 special effect shots and was made on a staggering budget of Rs. 500 million. Apparently, the movie tanked at the Box Office.

Blue: Starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan and Lara Dutta, Anthony D'Souza's Blue also had the presence of international pop star Kylie Minogue in an item number. Reportedly, Kylie Minogue was paid one million dollar for one song. Made on a whopping budget of 1.25 billion, Blue was a Box Office disaster.

Dasavatharam: Kamal Haasan starrer Tamil science fiction movie Dasavatharam was shot extensively in US, Malaysia, Tokyo and Thailand. The movie was a Box Office hit, with twenty million tickets sold worldwide. Apparently, Hollywood actor Jackie Chan’s visit to Chennai had cost Dasavatharam Rs. 100 million!

Dhoom 3: In Dhoom 3, the song Malang, which featured Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif, was reportedy made on a whopping budget of Rs. 5 crore. In the song, Aamir and Katrina wore glamorous costumes with painstakingly great details, which took months to conceptualise and create.

Robot: Starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai, Shankar's Robot featured previsualization technique and CGI and advanced animation straight from the Hollywood studio. Robot was made on a whopping budget of Rs. 1.32 billion.

Ra.One: In Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's superhero flick Ra.One, each superhero costume was worth a crore!

Kambakkht Ishq: Rumour had it that in Kambakkht Ishq, Kareena Kapoor's dresses were brought from Paris and each dress cost a bomb on the production house!

Devdas: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas not only had A-list stars but also featured opulent sets, featuring costliest jewellery line and rich couture, which was worth a fortune!

Jodhaa Akbar: In Jodhaa Akbar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan wore quite a few precious and semi-precious stones. Apparently, Aishwarya's costumes were the costliest of all!

Prince: In Vivek Oberoi starrer Prince, the leather suit which the hero wears was one of the most expensive costumes in the movie. Apparently, the designer got couple of those leather suits for Vivek.

Veer: In Salman Khan starrer Veer, the movie featured meticulously detailed film sets and armour. Aparently, Salman had six specially designed armours for himself alone, where each came for a whopping Rs. 20 lakh.
