The BMC's K west ward in Mar 2021 filed an FIR against model and actor Gauahar Khan for flouting Covid-19 protocol. Civic officials said that despite testing positive for the virus she had stepped out for film shooting.
DCP Chaitanya S confirmed the same to ETimes TV and said, "Gauahar Khan has been booked for violation of Covid-19 rules. She had tested positive and was supposed to stay at home but instead went for the film shoot." It is not the first time that Gauahar got caught up in controversies. The COVID-19 guidelines violation
Gauahar recently got booked by the Mumbai police for violating the COVID-19 rules by stepping out for a shoot even after she had been tested for coronavirus positive. The BMC lodged an FIR against the actress and the news was confirmed by Mumbai police spokesperson DCP Chaitanya. He told ETimes TV: “Gauahar has been booked for violation of COVID rules. She had tested positive for coronavirus and was supposed to stay home and quarantine but instead went for a film shoot.
When she got abused in Bigg Boss 14
Gauahar entered BB14 as a Toofani Senior for 14 days. But less did she know about getting hurled abuses at by the contestants of the season. After the completion of a task in the Bigg Boss house, Pavitra Punia was seen hurling a barrage of abuses against Gauahar and was also spotted calling her names. Later, Gauahar took a dig at Pavitra with a few Tweets when learned about the same post walking out of the show. She Tweeted, “Wooooooahhhhhh did someone say peeth peeche jo baat hoti hai uspe main bharosa nahi karoongi ,,,, hahahahahhahahahahagagagahahahahahahahha !!! The slap controversy
During the shoot of a reality TV show, Gauhar got slapped by a man in the audience while she was seated beside the stage during a performance. Apparently, the man stood up and slapped her hard. He later stated that Gauahar not respecting Muslim traditions because she wears short dresses as the reason behind his horrifying act.
The ugly breakup with Kushal Tandon
Gauahar and Kushal Tandon started dating during their Bigg Boss 7 stint. They were quite serious about each other and were together for almost a year. But surprisingly, things did not fall in place for the two and they broke up after making headlines because of some differences between the two. The two are friends now.
When she confidently handled a wardrobe malfunction
The Bigg boss 7 star got caught up in a horrific incident when she became a victim of wardrobe malfunction. To everyone’s shock, Gauahar’ dress tore apart while she was walking the ramp in a fashion week. Surprisingly, the actress handled the situation with utter confidence and walked back-stage hiding the teared up part with her hand.
Her nasty arguments with Salman Khan
During her Bigg Boss 7 stint, Gauahar was seen getting into some ugly arguments with host Salman Khan. Sometimes it happened, as stated then, due to his partiality towards Tanisha Mukherjee and at other times it was because of the rapport that the host shared with Gauahar’s then-boyfriend Kushal. Things once got so heated up that the actress went on to call Salman ‘unfair’, which later led to a heated exchange of words between the two.
