Bilaspur. " Village in Bulandshahr District, North Western Provinces; 16 miles south-west of Bulandshahr town, and 2 miles south of Sikandarabad railway station, with which it is connected by a metalled road. Population (1881) 3292. Post-office, school, market on Saturdays. Chiefly remarkable as head-quarters of the Skinner family and estate, founded by Col. James Skinner, C.B. Handsome house and fine garden adjoining the old mud fort. Mr. T. Skinner held the fort during the Mutiny. Owing to the bad management of his eldest son, the Court of Wards has taken charge of his share of the estate.
