Armur Town
Head-quarters of the taluk of the same name in Nizamabad District, Hyderabad State, situated in i8° 48' N. and 78 1 6' E., 16 miles north-east of Nizamabad town. Population (1901), 9,031. It contains a sub-post office, a police inspector's office, a dispensary, and a school with 127 pupils. Silk cloth and saris are largely manufactured.
