YANA means "GOD IS GRACIOUS" AND SHE TRUELY Believe's in it. . She has done her first show when she was in her eleventh standard. At her very young age yana expressed her interest in Designing . She is a self- taught designer and her affair with designing began at the age of 12 .
Although Yana never went to formal fashion school, her fashion education began at home. Yana grew up seeing her mother making her own ornaments and loin loom . As She belong to northeast , She has a fair knowledge about the history and the vibrant culture of northeast . Music, art ,photographs and the festival of northeast have always inspired yana to design . The beautiful melodies of 70s and 80s , the scenic beauty captured in an artists painting and the view outside her window set her creative juices flowing . That is typically reflected in her work. she is always keen to promote NORTHEAST state through her Mesmerizing fashion attires. Her simple mantra in life is BORN TO DESIGN AND DESIGN TO BREATH
Her vulnerable designs have made a benchmark in the fashion industry of India today where the costume's come as theme design's,knowledgeable apparels. she came up to be one of the most creative northeast designer in INDIA ,who only works on handloom and she is known for her crazy head gears all over and she is also known as ethnic chick .

Yana Ngoba’s Fashion Show Preview Ahead of North East Festival
Yana Ngoba, a well-known designer of Arunachal Pradesh who specializes in Indian ornamental design, organised a preview fashion show ahead of North East Festival at The Blues in Itanagar on 25th October last.
Ngoba is working on to motivate people to use Loin Looms of Arunachal Pradesh. Her designs are based on Arunachal traditional designs and said she is trying to infuse new leash of life in it with a modern touch. Stressing on the use of loin looms, she said besides longer durability like denim jeans, loin looms can strike a chord among young generation especially casual wears.
