Tubelight is a big budget (Rs 75 crore) Indian feature film currently under production. It is scheduled to be released on June 23, 2017, to coincide with the Eid ul Fitr festival.
Director Kabir Khan and superstar Salman Khan are coming back together after delivering blockbusters like 'Ek Tha Tiger' and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Inspired by 'Little Boy?
The Times of India wrote that reports of the film being a copy of Hollywood film 'Little Boy' are doing the rounds on the internet with just a slight difference in the storyline. Where on one side, 'Little Boy' plays on the lines of a father and son story, rumour has it that 'Tubelight' will highlight the bond between two brothers played by Salman and Sohail.
