Ranbir Kapoor is the son of Bollywood’s cute couple, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. They also have a daughter, Riddhima, who has stayed away from the glitz of the glamour world. Ranbir shot to fame with his attractive looks and impeccable acting skills. But while Ranbir was taking baby steps in the industry, he made a shocking revelation, shattering the perfect image of his parents. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the actor spoke about his parents, he said, “Sometimes the fights would get really bad. I would be sitting on the steps, my head between my knees, till five or six in the morning, waiting for them to stop. My parents had a very troubled marriage for a long time, and I was caught in the middle because I was there. But let's just say I didn't grow up with any rose-tinted illusions about love. I learned the hard way how complicated a relationship between a man and woman could be."

Ranbir Kapoor, the suave lad from the Kapoor khandaan has had a personal life, full of ups and downs. From a troubled childhood to a starry Bollywood launch, Ranbir Kapoor has experienced it all. The actor was quoted, "My parents had a very troubled marriage for a long time, and I was caught in the middle because I was there."

Later the actor made his debut in Bollywood with Saawariya opposite Sonam Kapoor. While he failed to make a mark then, he later became hot property in Bollywood. While the actor may have had a troubled childhood, he sure did have many sisters to take care. Ranbir Kapoor seems to share a good close bond with Kareena Kapoor. The duo also made an appearance on Koffee with Karan recently, and made an interesting brother-sister Jodi. Kareena Kapoor went all candid about dancing on Ranbir’s wedding, and hinting that Katrina Kaif would be the bride. Recently it seems that Ranbir Kapoor had mistakenly called Kareena’s number at 2 am. According to a report in Hindustan Times, Kareena said, “It was fun. Ranbir loves to visit his friends at 2 am.”

Ranbir Kapoor was rumoured to be dating Deepika Padukone for a long time. Their love blossomed while shooting for Bachna Ae Haseeno and went on for a few years. But things went awry when rumours emerged that Ranbir Kapoor had cheated on Deepika with Katrina Kaif. Ranbir and Kats were reportedly shooting for Raajneeti when something sparked between the two. According to a report in The Times of India, Ranbir confessed that he had cheated, “Yes, I have, out of immaturity, out of inexperience, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness. You realise it now, when you grow up and you value it more why be in a relationship, why be committed to someone when you cannot be committed? I've realised that now. That's why I don't want to jump into a relationship with anybody because ... unless you have a special bond, a special equation with somebody, somebody who you can be committed to, somebody who can trust you, who you can respect, there's no point.”

Presently Ranbir Kapoor seems to be in a settled zone with the actor reportedly dating Katrina Kaif. The duo have been spotted together at most times, attending screenings and reports have also surfaced of the couple spending time together. While shooting in South Africa for their film Jagga Jasoos, this cupid couple of Bollywood was reportedly spotted shopping and enjoying each other’s company. This couple has also been through the troubled bikini moment, when pictures of the two holidaying on a beach became the talk of the town. Ranbir and Katrina have stayed away from answering any questions about their relationship, even when Katrina Kaif has been reportedly meeting Neetu Singh and Ranbir’s grandmother – Krishna Raj Kapoor.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s alleged love life also sparked rumours of the two planning for a live-in relationship. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir and Katrina had gone out to visit an architect to do the interiors of their Bandra home. Further the report stated that Katrina Kaif was indeed the significant other in Ranbir's life which made him take the decision to move out of the Kapoor house. Rumours are rife that this house would be ready sometime next year. However an announcement is awaited.

Ranbir Kapoor may have moved over Deepika Padukone in his real life, but professionally it seems that the two will have to stick together. This duo exhibited fiery chemistry in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, despite having parted ways. Maintaining the veil of professionalism, these alleged ex-lovers will now be seen in Imtiaz Ali's next, reportedly titled, Tamasha. Audiences have loved their chemistry, and the duo will again create some interesting moments for the camera. While before Ranbir heads to shoot with his ex-love, the actor will first complete shooting with his alleged present love – Katrina Kaif, as they will be seen romancing in Jagga Jasoos.

Ranbir made his debut in Bollywood, with another Kapoor, namely Sonam Kapoor. The duo were seen romancing in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. Reports were rife then that Ranbir and Sonam were a couple. However when Sonam made an appearance on Koffee with Karan, she didn’t speak greatly about the actor. And later in an interview with The Times of India, Sonam said, “I don't know Ranbir anymore. He is not my friend now. I did have offers to act opposite him but I turned them down. And that's simply because I thought that those roles did not suit me. If I get something nice, I'll act with him. It isn't necessary for me to be friends with all my actors.” And the Kapoor lad, angered another Bollywood beauty.
