CITY: Delhi India's slumbering fashion industry got a boost in 1986 with the establishment of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, by the Ministry of Textiles, in technical collaboration with FIT, New York. NIFT Delhi has produced a number of eminent alumni over the years like Rohit Bal, Ritu Beri, Manish Arora.
