Height: 175 cm

Manushi was then studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. She has ambitions to be a Cardiac Surgeon and would like to open a chain of non-profitable hospitals based in rural areas. Manushi has a passion for outdoor sports and actively participates in paragliding, bungee jumping, snorkelling and scuba diving. She is a trained Indian Classical dancer and enjoys sketching and painting. Personal Motto: ‘When you cease to dream you cease to live.’ ‘Courage to give flight to your dreams and the ability to believe in yourself makes life worth living.’

As they say, destiny always has a plan for you! Even though she was studying to become a cardiac surgeon, Miss India happened for Manushi and rest is history. The 20-year-old, who is the 54th titleholder, represented the state of Haryana at the fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017. After winning the fbb Femina Miss India World 2017 title, Manushi created history by becoming the 6th Miss World from India. Let's take a look at some of the facts about this beauty.

With Manushi's win at Miss World 2017, India has won Miss World Pageant after 17 years when Priyanka Chopra bagged it in the year 2000. Apart from her, Reita Faria bagged the title in the year 1966 and was the first asian and India to achieve that feat, Aishwarya Rai in 1994, Diana Hayden in 1997 and Yukta Mookhey in 1999.

Born to doctor parents, Manushi is currently studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery. She has ambitions to be a Cardiac Surgeon and would like to open a chain of non-profitable hospitals based in rural areas.

Manushi loves to write poetry and paint whenever she is free. She feels it brings out the creativity within her.

Manushi has a passion for outdoor sports and actively participates in paragliding, bungee jumping, snorkeling and scuba diving.

In the year 2014, she got an opportunity to represent India at the cultural exchange programme in Japan. She performed Kuchipudi in a high school in Sapporo City.

For her Beauty with a Purpose project, Manushi took up the mantle to spread awareness about the important issue of menstrual hygiene. Her initiative was called Project Shakti. For the same, she visited about 20 villages, and made a difference to the lives of 5,000 women.

She is a trained Indian Classical dancer and has trained under legendary dancers Raja, Radha and Kaushalya Reddy. She has also been a part of The National School of Drama.
