Lohajang

Market in the Munshiganj subdivision of Dacca District, Eastern Bengal and Assam, situated in 23° 25 N. and 90° 19' E., on the north bank of the Padma, and, after Goalundo, the principal steamer station on that river. Population (1901), 464. The Jhulanjatra fair, held here in July or August, is attended by about 800 persons daily.
