Anshu Jain `misled' German central bank

Deutsche Bank co-chief executive Anshu Jain may have “knowingly made inaccurate statements“ to the German central bank, Bundesbank, during an in quiry into manipulati on of the inter-bank rate setting process, the Financial Times reported online, citing a confidential report from regulator BaFin. Jain allegedly told the central bank he did not know of rumours of possible rigging in 2008, but emails about a meeting on the issue were sent to him at the time.
