OTHER NAME: KANUPP Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering (KINPOE); Karachi Nuclear Power Training Centre

LOCATION: Approximately 25km west of Karachi

SUBORDINATE TO: Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC)

SIZE: 150m² with numerous buildings

FACILITY STATUS: Operational


The Karachi Institute of Power Engineering (KINPOE) is located adjacent to the Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (KANUPP), and provides training to qualify operators and engineers to operate and maintain KANUPP. KINPOE offers three academic programs: a Masters in Nuclear Power Engineering; a Postgraduate Training Program; and a Post-Diploma Training Program.
