He is a rising star of Indian banking. His Kotak Mahindra Bank, is India's fourth-largest private sector lender by market capitalisation, and he owns the financial daily Business Standard.

He holds the Kotak Presidium, where former US president Bill Clinton was a speaker in 2013 and former US Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke in 2014.

Just like Tendulkar

Being the captain of the school cricket team, he played in Mumbai's Kanga League while in college. His coach was none other than Ramakant Achrekar, coach to Sachin Tendulkar.

World at his feat

He was named the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 at an awards ceremony in Monaco's Salle des Etoiles.
