=Jaspur=

Town in the Kashlpur tahsil of Naini Tal District, United
Provinces, situated in 29 degree 17' N. and 78 degree 50' E. Population (1901),
6,480. The town is of modern growth and contains few brick houses.
It is administered under Act XX of 1856, with an income of
about Rs. 2,000. There is a considerable manufacture of cotton cloth
by Julahas (Muhammadan weavers), who reside here, and also some
trade in sugar and timber.

		+	In a bizarre discovery that has baffled forest officials and experts, a wellpreserved skeleton of a dinosaur-like creature was found buried under a pile of junk in a store room at an electric sub-station in Jaspur in Udham Singh Nagar district.

		+	The room was opened on Sunday for the first time in 35 years by an electrician who thought of cleaning it. While sifting through the junk, Javed stumbled upon the skeleton of a mysterious creature which resembled a tiny dinosaur.

		+	Forest officials reached the spot and after inspection sent the skeleton to the Wildlife Institute of India in Dehradun for further tests.

		+	Abul Kalaam, SHO (Jaspur), said, “Forest officials measured the body. The creature had a 28-cm-long torso while his head was 9-cm-long and neck was 5 cm.”

		+	Conservator of forests, western circle Parag Madhukar Dhakate shared a picture of the skeleton on Twitter.
