The CHASNUPP Center for Nuclear Training (CHASCENT) is located adjacent to the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant-1 (CHASNUPP-1), and provides training to qualify operators and engineers to operate and maintain CHASNUPP-1. CHASCENT currently offers a one-year postgraduate training program and a one-year post-diploma training program. The facility is equipped with a full-scope training simulator, laboratories, a library, a physical models house, and an auditorium. CHASCENT also conducts the retraining of plant personnel and assists in the licensing of operators.
